1. About these terms
By using this website or placing an order, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. Delivery is explained in our shipping policy. Returns and refunds are explained in our refund policy. Those pages form part of these terms.
2. Who we are

3. Using the website
You must be 18 or over to place an order, or have a parent or guardian’s permission. You agree not to misuse the site, attempt unauthorised access, or copy content for commercial use without our consent. We may suspend or refuse service if an order looks fraudulent or abusive.
4. Orders
When you check out, you offer to buy the books in your basket. We may accept or decline that offer. We accept by sending a dispatch confirmation. If a title is out of stock, mispriced, or we cannot complete the order, we will refund any amount already taken and will not be obliged to supply that item.
5. Price and payment
All prices are in pounds sterling (GBP) unless we say otherwise. We may change prices on the site at any time; the price you pay is the one shown at checkout. Payment is taken through Shopify’s checkout. We currently offer PayPal and the card methods shown at checkout. The order is not complete until payment is authorised.
6. Availability and descriptions
We take care with titles, editions, and covers, but images and descriptions are a guide. If a detail is wrong in a way that would matter to a reasonable buyer, tell us and we will follow the refund policy. Stock can change quickly; an item showing as available may still sell out before dispatch.
7. Delivery
We currently deliver within the United Kingdom. Dispatch times, Royal Mail tracked services, and free delivery over £30 are set out in the shipping policy. Risk in the books passes to you when Royal Mail (or another named carrier) delivers to the address you gave, or to a collection point used because nobody was in.
8. Cancellations and refunds
You may cancel unused books within 14 days of delivery as set out in the refund policy. Damaged, incorrect, or faulty books are also covered there. Email us before you post anything back. These terms do not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
9. Our liability
We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or of our failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, or for business losses if you buy as a consumer. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that English law does not allow us to limit.
10. Intellectual property
The MRB Sell name, site design, and original content belong to us or our licensors. Book covers, titles, and extracts remain the property of their publishers and authors. You may not copy the site for resale or republication.
11. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to an order is the version on this page when you place that order.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, except that you may also bring a claim in your local UK court if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland.
